CornerStone Medical is looking for a Medical Scribe for a very nice Family Medicine Clinic in Garland, TX. This is a temporary to possible hire role.

Date: March 10th - July 10th
Days/Hours: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Pay: Up to $25/hr. B.O.E

Responsibilities:

Accompany the physician upon patient interview and examination
Document the physician dictated patient history, including history of present illness, review of systems, past medical and surgical history, family and social histories, medications and allergies.
Document physical examination findings and procedures as performed by the physician
Document the results of laboratory and radiographic studies as dictated by the physician
Follow physician into each exam room to document the dictated patient history, physical examination, family, social, and past medical history as well as document procedures, lab results, and any other information pertaining to the patient’s encounter
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Completion of a medical terminology course or one year medical terminology experience in a clinical setting
Certification in Medical Assistant will pay more and give more opportunity for advancement
Excellent interpersonal skills
E-CLINICAL EXPERIENCE will have first consideration for position
