Strong med/surg nursing experience and competence Experience working closely with PT/OT/SLP Preferred or nice to have :  candidates with these skills will be considered first. Acute medical Inpatient Rehab nursing experience Care Tool experience (this is unique to acute medical Inpatient Rehab setting) List typical procedures performed on unit(s):   Patient transfers and mobilization with assistive devices.   Rehab nursing is very physically demanding.   ALL care team members are responsible for getting patients UP. Strong communication skills.   Rehab nurses provide extensive patient and family education and training.
