On Hawaiis Big Island, Queens North Hawaii Community Hospital is a 35-bed rural acute-care facility that serves Waimea and surrounding communities. Part of The Queens Health Systems, Queens North Hawaii Community Hospital has over 300 employees and more than a dozen physicians who serve the main hospital as well as outpatient clinics at Lucy Henriques Medical Center. The Level III Trauma Center is accredited by The Joint Commission and is a designated Baby-Friendly birth facility.
