    Job Details
  • Small hospital in Idaho is looking for an experienced OR nurse to start ASAP! This position will be for 8 hour days and will include call.
    Job Requirements
  • Must have active ID license
  • Minimum of 3 years OR experience
  • Strong Ortho background
  • Some endo experience needed
  • Prefer previous travel experience
    Schedule Information
  • Mon- Friday 8 hour shifts
  • Typically 700-1530
  • Call starts at 1500
  • Typically, 1 night per week or 4 weeknights per month
  • Typically 1 full weekend per month
  • If there is a holiday during the contract you may be assigned holiday call
  • You must be always within 30 minutes of the hospital while on-call
    Additional Details

  • Unit: Surgical Services OR RN - Flr 2
  • # Suites: 4 Plus 1 Endoscopy Suite
  • Average # of cases per day: 8 average/ day
  • Common Cases: Ortho- total joints, sports med, hands and trauma, General, Gyn, C-sections, Endoscopy.
  • Scrubbing required - RN's: No
  • Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: We have both, Charge and ANM for OR.
  • OR techs: We have CST's and RN's who scrub. And orderlies to help turnover rooms. All OR personnel are required to help clean and turnover OR's along with our orderly team.
  • EMR: Epic. We also use TDOC to track instruments and our providers use ProVation for Endoscopy.
  • Floating Requirements: The OR team covers endoscopy. CST's are required to have some SPD and HLD experience.
  • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Blue- scrubs provided per surgical services attire policy. OR shoes.
  • Unit/Department specific orientation: We pair travelers with a preceptor for unit specific orientation. Unit Norms and System Values will be discussed during this time, 5 days of orientation.
