  • Job Summary: RN position in the Operating Room at Lewisgale Medical Center, specializing in Ortho trauma and various surgical procedures.
  • Job Overview: Responsible for circulating in the OR, working independently, and assisting with various surgical specialties.
    Job Requirements
  • Must have RN licensure in Virginia.
  • Required certifications: BLS.
  • Experience as an OR circulator is mandatory.
  • Strong experience with Ortho trauma is essential.
    Schedule Information
  • 12-hour weekend night shift position from 7 PM to 7 AM, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Type of staff: Day Shift – 1 Charge, RN in each OR with 1-3 scrub/assists; Night Shift – 1-2 Charge RNs only.
  • Typical procedures performed: Ortho, General, ENT, Spine, Urology, Vascular, Robotics and others.
    Additional Details
  • Unit Information: Operating Room
  • Number of Beds: 11 ORs
  • Number of Staff: 60-70
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1
  • Type of Equipment: Davinci, Mazor, Jackson bed, Fracture bed, basic OR equipment
  • EMR: Meditech
