  • Position / Specialty: Step-Down
  • Start date: 3-4 weeks out per compliance tier
  • Ratios: 1:5
  • Years of experience REQ: 2

  • Guaranteed Hours: Yes
  • Common surgical procedures for our patients include coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), mitral valve repair or replacement (MVR), aortic valve repair or replacement (AVR), aortic aneurysm repair, Maze procedure, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), heart transplant, and left ventricular assist device (LVAD) implant.
    Job Requirements
  • 2 years of experience required
  • ACLS certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Pending License accepted: Yes
  • RTO Restrictions: please, no more than 7 days of RTO per 13 week contract
    Schedule Information
  • Can sign for 36 or 48 hours per week
  • Is on-call REQ? No

    Unit Specific Information
  • Unit Specific Skills checklist is required within 1 year of start. Require Oncology/Outpatient Oncology/Infusion Center skills checklist for Med Surg-Oncology Unit. If the candidate states they do not have oncology experience, escalate to BJC lead for next steps.
    Additional Details
  • Government issued ID required. For Home Health positions, candidate must provide driver's license.
  • AHA Only Certification requirements by unit are housed in the unit descriptions available in the facility's profile page. Certs of completion are acceptable for up to 1 month until official card is issued.
