The Senior Planner is responsible for mid-term demand planning and long-term capacity planning for the North American region. This role manages all forecasting and demand management activities with customers and products, serving as the primary communication link with sales teams, subsidiaries, and headquarters. The position reports to the Plant Operations Manager and oversees one direct report, with additional indirect supervision of production planning.
Key Responsibilities

• Analyze historical sales trends to develop rolling 18-month forecasts, ensuring alignment with market conditions.
• Collaborate with sales teams to refine and validate SKU-level forecasts.
• Manage phase-in/phase-out forecasts and optimize inventory levels.
• Enter and monitor customer forecasts, maintain product status control, and support capacity planning with plant managers.
• Propose and implement strategies to improve forecast accuracy, while monitoring KPIs.
• Address demand-related issues promptly and prepare detailed analyses.
• Maintain inventory levels in line with KPIs for on-time delivery and inventory volume.

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, or Statistics.
• 5+ years of experience in demand planning, with expertise in statistical analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in ERP, data-driven software, spreadsheets, and word processing.
