Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated warehouse worker to join our team. The primary role involves receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items in a stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.
Key Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Worker, you will:

• Inventory Management: Receive, count, and record stock items accurately using manual or computerized methods.
• Stock Handling: Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
• Verification: Compare inventory computations with physical counts of stock and address any discrepancies.
• Organization: Store items systematically in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other designated areas.
• Labeling: Use identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment to mark stock items.
• Maintenance: Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure safety compliance.
• Record-Keeping: Keep detailed records of stock use or damage and stock handling equipment.
• Quality Control: Inspect stock items for wear or defects and report any damages to supervisors.
• Team Assistance: Provide guidance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented and a team player
• Knowledge of equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to enhance local, state, or national security operations

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Previous experience as a Material Handler is preferred

Job Details

• Shift: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
• Pay rate: $20 an hour
• Job Type: Onsite, with the possibility to extend and hire full-time after the contract
