Associate Attorney - Lemon Law
Responsibilities:
Lemon Law Case Handling:
- Evaluate and assess the validity of Lemon Law claims under California statutes.
- Provide expert legal advice and support to clients with defective vehicle claims.
- Review repair records, warranty terms, and supporting documentation to establish case merit.
- Develop and implement strategies to secure refunds, replacements, or settlements.
- Stay updated on state and federal Lemon Law regulations to strengthen case arguments.
- Skillfully negotiate settlements or prepare for arbitration, mediation, or trial.
Litigation & Case Management:
- Propound and respond to written discovery.
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, complaints, pleadings, and other litigation documents.
- Prepare for, take, and defend depositions.
- Attend court hearings and represent clients as required.
- Manage a high-volume caseload while ensuring timely case progression and compliance with deadlines.
Client Relations & Professionalism:
- Maintain open, professional communication with clients throughout the case lifecycle.
- Provide exceptional client service and uphold professional integrity.
- Effectively negotiate and settle disputes in the clients best interest.
Qualifications:
- Education: JD from an accredited law school; admission to the California Bar.
- Experience: 1-3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in consumer protection or Lemon Law.
- Skills:
- Strong legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload effectively.
- Excellent communication and client-relations abilities.
Salary: $130,000-$200,000 depending on experience
