What Success Looks Like: - Assist with daily shipping duties, including preparing and processing shipments.
- Create and print box labels for shipments.
- Match freight bills with billing documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Generate and review bills of lading for accuracy and compliance.
- Handle customer service calls related to shipping inquiries and needs.
- Communicate effectively with customers to resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Input and manage outside assembly data.
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation and records.
- Use QuickBooks to assist with inventory, bulling, or other operational tasks.
- Perform data entry and reporting in Excel and other software as needed.
- assist with packing list creation and ensure all items are accurately scammed into the system.
- Following all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notify supervisor/team lead of any existing or potential safety issues
- Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
What You Bring: - High School Diploma or Equivalent a plus
- Prior shipping and logistics experience is a plus
- Computer literate - Excel, QuickBooks
- Able to walk and stand for up to 10 - 12 hours
- Lift 50 lbs. using proper technique
- Can communicate effectively
- Read and understand written instructions
- Able to perform basic math
- Can work with a team or independently
- Eager to learn with a can-do attitude
The target hourly wage for this position is $17.50/hr.
Work Environment / Other Requirements - The work performed is conducted in a non-climate-controlled facility with moderate noise levels that are within OSHA limits.
