Job Summary

This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers the opportunity to work in a Level III Trauma Center and Level I Teaching facility as a Med Surg / Telemetry nurse. The position requires ACLS and BLS certifications, with a minimum of one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Med Surg / Telemetry setting
• Manage rhythms and perform peripheral line care management
• Work with Rapid Response Teams and use nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tanks, and non-invasive airway management
• Float within scope to meet facility needs

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• NM license (pending license accepted)
• Will consider first-timers

• Community-based hospital
• Level III Trauma Center and Level I Teaching facility
• Total staffed beds: 65 Inpatient, 12 ICU
• Parking is free
