Head of Investment and Asset Management (48343-5)
Objectives of this role:
• Collaborate with SVP, Operation and President in setting and driving organizational and divisional vision, operations strategy, and hiring levels.
• Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning.
• Oversee Division operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture that ensures team members can thrive and that organizational goals are met.
• Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention.
• Ensure compliance with national and local business regulations, and take appropriate action when necessary.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement.
• Implement business strategies and plans that align with the short- and long-term objectives developed in tandem with SVP Operation and President.
• Oversee divisional operations, and partner with President in sales management so that sufficient investment capital can be budgeted for near-term growth targets.
• Manage shareholder capital investments and expenses aggressively to ensure that the company achieves its targets for growth and profitability.
• Monitor performance and take corrective measures when necessary, and prepare detailed updates and forecasts.
• Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, shareholders, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in research activities such as analyzing economic trends, industry developments, and company performance.
Requirements & Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience with Commercial and Multi-Family assets.
• 8+ years of experience in institutional real estate management.
• Proven track record of success in Real Estate investment.
• Bachelor's degree in real estate, business administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record of success in leading and managing teams, preferably in an executive level or similar role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
• Financial (GAAP) Management knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
• Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
• Executive level communication.
