Our client, a regional CPA firm, is seeking a Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join their team. They are open to fully remote, but preference for candidates in Pacific Time Zone or the Greater Seattle Area.Role

Review business and individual tax returnsPrepare high level tax returns, including state returns; signs completed tax returnsInterview clients to obtain information for tax returns or other projectsReview tax accruals; attend meetings with auditors regarding tax issuesManage client relationships by monitoring client needs, building value into professional serviceEvaluate the costs, benefits and risks of alternative solutions to client problems or needsPerform tax research and other special projects as they occurProvide feedback in order to develop the tax practiceCapitalize on personal and professional experiences in order to develop business and practice linesParticipate in the management team, bringing ideas and feedback in supporting the firm's strategic plan, and being involved with firm committeesDelegation of duties to supervisors, senior staff and staffProvide mentoring and technical training for employees in the tax department and participate in performance reviewsPerform client manager duties including billing and collection efforts for book of business clientsParticipate in the area of business development, including outside marketing efforts and preparing proposalsParticipate in community organizations and industry functionsDemonstrate competencies in accordance with career developmentBenefits
