The Account Opening workflow is no exception, as the process of applying for a Bank account creates a “first impression” of Capital One Bank’s digital experience for our prospective customers and must continue to support the Bank’s needs for speed of deployment, data quality and personalization at scale.Role Overview:The Shopping Experiences & Application Platform Lead is a product leadership role that has both vertical and horizontal responsibilities and executes through a “pod” of product managers, engineers, designers and analysts. Vertically, this pod is responsible for the seamless conversion of customers from shopping (interest) to opening an account (intent), ensuring that the customer gets the appropriate account application and cross-sell experiences based on Marketing entry points and offers, and owning the full-stack implementation of these experiences across mobile and web channels. Horizontally, this pod is responsible for maintaining components of the frontend account opening architecture, including CMS and Optimizely integration, and continuously identifying opportunities for improvement.This Senior Manager role is also responsible for mentoring and coaching junior product managers and evaluating their performance against role- and level-based expectations.We want you if you are:Intellectually Curious. Understand the needs of business stakeholders, data scientists, engineers and Capital One customers

Prioritize the pod’s product backlog to maximize business and customer outcomes

Incorporate customer insights and analytics to inform product strategy and design

Partner closely with engineering leadership to evolve tech architecture and build new capabilities

Enable collaboration and ensure communication between teams

Support the team with escalation and resolution of impediments

Make hard trade-offs to achieve goals

Basic Qualifications:At least 4 years of experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver consumer experiences.

At least 4 years of experience working on the core product platforms that power digital experiences

At least 4 years of digital industry experience for consumers

Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

Preferred Qualifications:At least 3 years of experience with web and client-side mobile platforms

At least 2 years of experience as a Product Owner in an Agile development process
