Practice Setting

• Inpatient hospital setting
• No newborns all sick kids transferred to a nearby pediatric hospital
• Standard hospital staff support, with an NP handling primary night call

Schedule

• PRN/sporadic shifts available
  • 7 AM - 5 PM daily, with backup night call (NP takes first call)
  • Weekend call only for scheduled days

Procedures and Cases

• No procedures required
• Healthy pediatric cases only
• Established patients are seen by their primary clinic physician

Requirements

• Board Certified in Pediatrics
• Active Iowa license or IMLC LOQ
• DEA & PALS certification required
