  • Other Details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 4 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. There are an average of 17 max of patients per shift. The position offers a work schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with 24-hour weekend on-call responsibilities. Weekday call is shared among employed providers and primarily involves answering questions from RNs about patients' concerns, chemotherapy treatments, and occasional consults from the ED. The role requires board certification or eligibility. Support staff includes one Medical Assistant and several RNs, with a pharmacy team available to provide educational support for chemotherapy initiation. The practice is housed under the same roof as radiation oncology, offering a collaborative environment.
