Our Downtown Hospital is looking for locum breast surgery coverage July 2024 through December 2024 with possible extension!
Job Details: - Reason for Coverage: Provider left
- Practice Setting: Office-clinic and hospital
- Call Schedule: TBD
- Trauma Level/Designation: No designation at this time
- Documentation System/EMR: Epic
- Number of Operating Rooms: 28 across to hospitals
- Number of General Surgeons in Practice: 9
- Patient Age Demographic: Adult, geriatric
Procedures Required:- General Surgical Cases ADULT
- Breast Surgery
- Cholecystectomy
- Hernioplasty
Travel Requirements:- Facility will reimburse flight, hotel, car rental, mileage billed at the IRS Standard Rate.
- All other bookings must be standard/economy
- Lodging must be $150/night
- Anything beyond these parameters must be approved
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days for full privileges; 2 weeks for temporary privileges
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Board Certified General Surgery - REQUIRED
- BLS Certified - REQUIRED
- Active SC license & DEA - REQUIRED
- Clean background (medical & criminal) - REQUIRED
- Breast Surgery Fellowship - Highly Preferred; must at least have extensive training
