Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients who are in severe distress due to illness or injury.
• Diagnose and stabilize patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Provide immediate treatment to stabilize patients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to manage patients health.
• Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
• Oversee the care of emergency department patients, from initial assessment to discharge or admission.
• Manage medical emergencies such as cardiac arrest, trauma, stroke, and severe infections.
• Document all patient care and treatment in medical records.
• Ensure adherence to all hospital protocols and guidelines for patient care.

Qualifications:

• State License Requirements:
  • Ohio
• Additional License Requirements:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Board Certified

Working Hours:

• Shifts are 8 PM - 8 AM, with a main focus on night shifts/weekends.
• EMR: EPIC
• Annual Volume: 30,000
• Physician Shifts: 8 AM - 8 PM, 8 PM - 8 AM
• Number of Beds: 21
