Job Description
Position Details:
  • Practice Setting: Primarily outpatient with occasional inpatient consults
  • Coverage Type: Full-time, 5 days per week
  • Reason for Coverage: Vacancy
  • Call Ratio: None
  • Average Clinic Patients Per Day: 10-13 (mix of new patients and follow-ups)
  • Average Inpatient Admissions Per Day: 0-1 (inpatient consults)
  • Number of Cardiologists in Group: 8 (collaborative team environment)
  • Supervision: Supported by 1 APP
  • Patient Demographics: Adults and geriatrics
  • Documentation System/EMR: Meditech Expanse
Procedures Required:
  • Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
  • Electrical Cardioversions
  • Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
  • ? Travel and Accommodations:
  • The facility will reimburse for flight, hotel, and rental car expenses.
Requirements:
  • To be considered, please ensure you meet the following criteria:
  • Active MA License: Highly preferred (open to providers who need to obtain a license)
  • Certifications:
  • BLS/ACLS (American Red Cross or AHA) - Required
  • Board Certified - Required
  • COVID Vaccination: Required
  • Certification Requirements:
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • BLS (AHA)
