Facility in Lima, OH seeking Pulmonary locums coverage Rates: $325/hr Overview This facility is seeking a board-certified pulmonologist for a full-time locum position. The role combines clinic duties and inpatient pulmonary coverage. The assignment begins May 1, 2025, and requires a commitment of 3 4 months minimum
. Key Details - Schedule:
- Full-time, ongoing.
- Includes clinic and inpatient pulmonary coverage.
- Facility:
- 400-bed hospital.
- Level 2 Trauma Center.
- EMR System: Epic.
- Supervision:
- Setting:
- Adult inpatient (non-ICU).
- Ambulatory clinic (new patient evaluations required).
Responsibilities - Patient Care:
- COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, pneumonia, sarcoidosis, pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary fibrosis, pulmonary vascular disease, and bronchiolitis.
- Conduct and interpret pulmonary evaluations and treatments.
- Procedures:
- Pulmonary Function Testing.
- Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
- Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing.
- Bronchoscopy, Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS), and/or Super-D Navigation Bronchoscopies.
- Bronchoscopic Intubations.
- Sleep Medicine:
- Highly preferred if able to assist with sleep-related care.
Requirements - Certifications:
- Board Certification in Pulmonology (Required).
- Sleep Medicine Board Certification (Preferred).
- ACLS and BLS (Required).
- Licensure:
- Ohio Medical License (Preferred but will review candidates requiring licensure).
- Training:
- Completed Pulmonary Fellowship (Required).
- Other:
- Clean background (preferred).
- Supervisory experience with APCs.
