Hospital Medicine Physician MD/DO - Mason City, IA

Full Time or Part Time - H-1b Visa Eligible and J1 Waiver Eligible

Qualifications:

• We seek team members who can ideally start by September 2025 and who are Board-certified or eligible in family medicine or internal medicine.
• All levels of experience considered. New graduates, residents, and fellows are welcome to apply.

Scheduling:

• 7 on, 7 nights off, Tuesday - Monday.
• Shift hours are 12 hours in length.
• Both Part-time and Full-Time hospitalists will need to be able to cover night shifts, equal to at least 50% of their shifts

Responsibilities:

• Rounding Hospitalist will manage a panel of patients from admission assignment to discharge.
• Admissions are shared between the hospitalists in round robin fashion with one hospitalist carrying the admission pager.
• Respond to all rapid responses, stroke alerts, and Code Blues, though critical care is in-house as well as residents who often like to run the codes.
