Job Description
Schedule/Availability Requirements:
  • Dates Currently Open (all shifts end the following day at 7a):
  • Mar 1-27
  • Apr 2-14
  • Apr 17-30
  • May 1-31
  • June 8-29
  • July 7-31
  • Aug 1-31
  • Sept 1-30
  • Ongoing dates will be needed once schedules are released.
  • Duration: Stretches of at least 7 days/month
Details:
  • 7a-7a - 24 hour shifts
  • Facility Location: St. Catherine Hospital - Garden City, St. Catherine Hospital Dodge City
  • Setting: Clinic and Inpatient Call
  • FTE: 0
  • Required Procedures/Job Duties: All ob/gyn procedures including more than 5 c-section in last 24 months & more than 5 hysterectomies in last 24 months.
    EMR: EPIC
  • Support Staff: Lab Tech, LPN/LVN, MA, X-ray Tech, RN
    • Physicians working with CRNA's and midwives
  • Reason for Coverage: 2 vacancies
  • Dealbreakers (Do Not Present):
  • Adequate procedures for privileging need to have procedure log at time of candidate presentation.
EMR Required Training:
  • Module (learn lessons) Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training.
  • EMR Virtual training Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Virtual training must be completed prior to the providers first day
Credentialing Information:
  • Timeframe: payor credentialing 60 days from state license issue
  • Credentialing with other facilities? No
  • Billing enrollment - Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less? No
Submission Requirements
  • Board Certified OBGYN - Required or Truly Board Eligible (0-5 years of residency completion)
  • Active KS license - Highly Preferred
  • Active BLS - Required for credentialing
  • Active DEA - Required for credentialing (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)
  • Candidates must be available for any of the stints detailed in the job description to be considered - Required
  • Must acknowledge candidate understands the EMR training requirements set forth in job description and will complete in this order to avoid missing their start date - Required
  • Clean Malpractice/Background HIGHLY PREFERRED - Self Inquiry NPDB report is required prior to an offer is made.
  • Procedure Logs - REQUIRED BY BID DUE DATE . Providers without after the bid ends will NOT be presented.
