Job Title: Experienced Legal Secretary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced legal secretary with a strong background in litigation and transactional matters. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal environment, with proficiency in iManage and Office 365.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, including calendar management, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings.
- Prepare and file legal documents in compliance with state and federal court rules.
- Maintain and organize case files using iManage.
- Edit correspondence, pleadings, and transactional documents with precision.
- Assist in both litigation and transactional matters, including research and document management.
- Manage billing and timekeeping records accurately.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a legal secretary, with a focus on both litigation and transactional work.
- Proficient in iManage and Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), including advanced table functions.
- Strong knowledge of filing procedures for predominantly state courts.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
