We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
Director of Finance to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. As a Director of Finance, you will play a key role in our company's financial operations, ensuring high levels of financial control and excellent forecasting that will drive our organization's financial performance and growth.
Responsibilities:
As our Director of Finance, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1. Overseeing the annual budgeting and planning process, reviewing all financial plans and budgets regularly to identify cost-saving opportunities.
2. Implementing a robust financial management/reporting system; ensuring that the system is providing accurate and detailed financial data for decision-making.
3. Managing the performance of the finance department, setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth, and establishing policies and procedures to ensure these are met.
4. Coordinating with other departments to compile financial data and streamline financial processes.
5. Utilizing NetSuite to improve financial operations, including end month processes, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, and treasury.
6. Overseeing all FP&A activities and ensuring timely, accurate, and useful financial and management reporting for investors, board members, and company executives.
7. Collaborating with executive management to develop financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements.
8. Identifying and addressing financial risks and opportunities for the company.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A, preferably in the software industry.
3. Proven experience with financial processes, including budgeting, financial forecasting, and portfolio management.
4. Expert knowledge of data analysis, risk management, and forecasting methods.
5. Hands-on experience with NetSuite and other financial management software.
6. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
7. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
8. Proven ability to strategize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading a team to meet financial objectives.
10. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
11. Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
