Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon Locums to Perm Job in Michigan Part-Time Coverage April Start Assignment
Dates of Coverage:
Coverage: 1-2 Blocks of 3 Days per month starting April 2025 through July 2025 with opportunity to go perm
Schedule: Two 24-Hour Call (7:00am-7:00am) shifts, one 8-hour shift for follow-up
Example Schedule: start day can be flexible
O Monday (7am) Wednesday (7am) > 24-Hour Call
O Wednesday > 8-hour clean-up (8am-5pm)
O Thursday-Sunday > OFF
Assignment Details:
Seeking one provider to cover 3-6 days/month (two 24-hour shifts, with call back hours + third, 8-hour day to cleanup from the 2 on call shifts)
Practice Setting: Hospital coverage with ambulatory follow-up as needed
Volume: 3-4 surgical cases per shift
Procedures: Ortho Trauma surgical cases
O All trauma presentations to include pelvis, acetabular, and supracondylar humerus fractures
Population: Adult, Geriatric
Requirements: Board Certified, ABMS accredited Residency, active MI license + DEA, COVID vaccine, clean malpractice

O Level 1 trauma
O 20 operating rooms; 3-4 surgical cases per day
O >125,000 ER visits per year
O >440 staffed beds
