Medical Director, Child Abuse Pediatrics: A Leadership Opportunity in Chapel Hill, NC

The University of North Carolina seeks a Medical Director of Child Abuse Pediatrics to oversee its nationally recognized program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and expand UNC's nationally recognized Child Maltreatment Program
• Develop new clinical programs and establish a top child abuse fellowship training program
• Leverage extensive resources to elevate child maltreatment care and research
• Be part of a new freestanding children's hospital dedicated to supporting a premier Child Maltreatment Program
• Work within a diverse, multidisciplinary team including experienced nurse practitioners and social workers
• Provide critical inpatient and outpatient care with access to state-of-the-art equipment and a robust referral network
• Contribute to the education of medical students, residents, and fellows in a supportive academic environment
• Participate in innovative research and clinical trials with established infrastructure and support
