Job Title
West Coast Trial Lawyers seeks a litigation professional with at least 1 year of experience in personal injury law.
The ideal candidate is eager to learn and work in a team environment where growth is driven by effort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle personal injury matters from inception to trial.
- Serve as liaison between clients and assigned attorney.
- Communicate with opposing counsel.
- Manage attorney's calendar, adhering to California Code of Civil Procedure deadlines.
- Process high-volume litigation cases.
- Prepare court filings and updates for clients and case files.
- Propound discovery and prepare subpoenas.
- Draft pleadings and legal documents for review.
Requirements:
- 1 year of litigation experience.
- Full-time office availability (Monday - Friday).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Ability to work one-on-one with the handling attorney and within a team setting.
- Easily adapt to fast-paced work environments.
- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
Preferences:
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Knowledge of legal software programs (Filevine, Abacus Law, Clio, etc.).
- Preparing trial binders/exhibit binders.
