Job Description

A cardiovascular operating room nurse, also known as a CVOR nurse, specializes in the care of patients with cardiovascular conditions. They participate in patient sedation and assist physicians during surgical procedures by administering medications, monitoring vital signs and applying dressings.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery.
• Monitor patients' vital signs during and after surgery.
• Apply dressings and assist with wound care.
• Participate in patient education and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
