Job Summary:
KPG Healthcare is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a travel nursing assignment in Denver, Colorado. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Labor and Delivery and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring safe and effective delivery of babies.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, while also monitoring patients' responses and adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and caregivers to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
- Two years of experience in Labor and Delivery within the last three years.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Colorado.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts, nights.
