We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our fast-paced engineering team. This is a permanent position where the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, installation, and maintenance of manufacturing processes for our products. The role requires a deep understanding of machine design and the ability to improve existing systems, develop new manufacturing processes, reduce cost, improve sustainability, and maximize efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, evaluate, and enhance manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.2. Analyze manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancements of quality, cost reduction, and throughput.3. Collaborate with design engineering regarding product tooling and design to ensure effective production methods.4. Apply statistical methods and perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.5. Design, develop and test a variety of tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment to meet requirements.6. Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.7. Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers.8. Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.9. Prepare and present technical and program information to team members and management.10. Direct the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.2. Minimum of 5+ years experience in a manufacturing engineering role.3. Proficiency in machine design and understanding of its applications in manufacturing processes.4. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.6. Proven experience in project management and team leadership.7. Ability to design systems for manufacturing based on customer needs.8. Strong written and verbal communication skills.9. Proficient in using CAD software and other engineering tools.10. In-depth knowledge of product lifecycle management.11. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.12. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.13. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships.14. Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in the industry.
