DUTIES:The duties of the Senior Accountant include but are not limited to the following:Execute accounting functionsPrepare journal entriesHandle financial reporting and financial reconciliationsSupport month end close process and financial reportingConduct financial analysis of variances from the budgetAssist with budgeting and forecastingSupport accurate tax compliance and tax accountingAssist with process improvements and streamlining of accounting systemsSupport annual financial audits and IRS Forms 990 filingSupport quarterly surveys as required by the Census Bureau
