TravelPS Companies is seeking an experienced PCU RN for an opening based in Wausau, WI. This is a full time 13 week travel contract position.
Float Requirements: Float to all inpatient units as needed- will float to IMC and CTU units
Unit Info: 8 bed unit Background in observation units, or MS/Tele units. Ability to read and interpret strips is required. Will have to take an EKG exam during compliance
Patient Ratio 1:4Observation unit. Anemia, Cellulitis, COPD, Dehydration, pre and post-op Urology and GI, Drips ( Cardiac Cardizem, Nitro ,Insulin, Heparin) Average stay up to 48 hrs. High amount of admissions and discharges
Requirements include, but are not limited to:Active WI or Compact License.2+ years PCU experienceTravel experience a MUSTBLS (AHA) CertificationACLS (AHA) CertificationNIH preferredAbility to clear a drug screen/background check.
