Collector Government- Medi-Cal the Collector-Government Billing performs two major functions,

• Billing and Collections.• Must have an in-depth knowledge of the billing rules and regulations that govern the Medicare, Medi-Cal, Medi-Cal Managed Care, and CCS programs.• Obtains all information needed for claim submissions.• Performs telephone and written inquiries with patients, other departments, and third-party payers to promote resolution or closure to all accounts.• Must have the ability to analyze, audit and resolve issues relating to all Medicare and Medi-Cal accounts.• Must have full understanding of the Medicare and Medi-Cal credit rules.• completes credits and adjustments within the stipulated timeframe all government entities require.• Performs other duties as needed.
