Locum Gastroenterology Physician

Position Overview:
Seeking a dedicated Locum Gastroenterology Physician to provide inpatient care. This position offers the opportunity to work with a highly skilled team while enjoying competitive compensation and a flexible schedule.

Job Details:

• Start Date: March 2025 (or as soon as credentialed)
• Duration: Ongoing
• Shift Type: 24-hour pager call (7:00 AM 7:00 AM) with call back
• Setting: Hospital-based inpatient coverage
• Procedures:
• ERCP: Required
• EUS: Highly preferred, but not mandatory
• 3 4 outpatient procedures daily, plus inpatient procedures and consults
• Patient Population: Adults only
• EMR System: Cerner
• Pay: $3500 daily. $425/hour call back rate
  

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 3 years of residency)

• State License: Active Iowa license (IMLC not accepted)
• Certifications: ACLS required
• Experience:
• Must be willing and able to work inpatient
• ERCP required
• EUS highly preferred
• Malpractice/Background: Clean record required for quick privileges
