Our client has an immediate need for an Actimize Engineer
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science/relevant field is a plus
3+ years of Actimize AIS experience
Leadership experience
Experience with developing in any Actimize (RCM, IMF, Star)
Experience with Actimize IFM-x 10.1 or Actimize ActOne 6.5, 6.6
Experience with Oracle 19c
Experience with Linux RHEL 8.X is a plus (Deploy code required)
Ability to build application packages in a Linux-based platform
Experience with SQL, and Agile
Experience with Apache 8, 9.x is a plus
Experience with Java is a plus
Responsibilities:
Enable Business Strategy: Partners with all IS areas and the business units to understand the technology architecture and strategy, including emerging technologies
Provides relevant solutions and recommendations to management and clients based on technology architecture and strategy
Identifies and communicates all business impacts of changes or problems
Ensures the interoperability and reuse of code developed
Maintains knowledge of current standards, policies and procedures, and audit requirements. Communicates with clients, external vendors, IS personnel, and team members as required
Maintains and develops technical skills to keep current in systems programming and analysis techniques for assigned applications in portfolio or technologies
Possesses a breadth of knowledge with multiple technologies, platforms, or systems, and functions as an application expert.
Situation Management: Resolves and/or coordinates the resolution of all production outages for the applications within the segment utilizing consistent situation management processes
Application Maintenance: Identify and implement operational/system improvements, automation to reduce processing costs, system decommissioning, and system replacements/improvements
Coordinates for the application segment support for Disaster Recovery planning and hotsite testing
Application Development: Responsible for application tuning such as strobe, database queries, performance, and performance enhancements
Partners with the development team to ensure the quality and supportability of new and/or enhanced applications
Assists with the definition of requirements and evaluation of vendor RFP; Partners with IS to implement the use of tools in support of the production environment, making improvements and addressing production issues
Vendor/Client Management. Maintains knowledge of current standards, policies procedures, and audit requirements; partners with clients to address critical support issues, priorities, and expectations for resolution of open items impacting the performance and/or stability of the application; responsible for ongoing support delivered by software vendors.
