Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Director of Nursing to lead and support clinical operations.
Serve as the acting Director of Nursing in their absence.
Cultivate a safe, high-performing work environment dedicated to quality resident care.
Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Lead weekly wound rounds and support compliance during facility surveys.
Act as a vital link between nursing staff, management, residents, and families.
Drive engagement and professional development within the nursing team.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in New Jersey.
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
Proven experience in long-term care is a must.
Strong decision-making, multitasking, and problem-solving skills under pressure.
