Job Description

Planet Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse for a temporary nursing position in Denver, Colorado.

• 23 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days, evenings

The Transplant/Stepdown unit at Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires adaptability and strong multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities:

• Care for patients with various medical conditions, including those requiring Heparin gtts and PCA's.
• Assist with wound/drain care, chest tube, and JP procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Preferred qualifications include experience in Stepdown/PCU and Solid Organ Transplant (kidney, liver or pancreas).

Key qualities for success on this unit include reliability, ability to work well under pressure, and effective communication skills.
