The job responsibilities for the Fire Sprinkler Technician include:
- Install fire sprinkler systems in accordance with design specifications and safety codes.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems.
- Diagnose and repair issues with fire sprinkler systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with engineers and contractors to review system designs and plans.
- Test fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with local and national fire safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance and repairs.
- Provide recommendations for system upgrades or replacements when necessary.
- Respond to emergency service calls to address urgent fire sprinkler issues.
- Proven experience as a Fire Sprinkler Technician or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of fire safety codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Physical ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in fire sprinkler systems (preferred).
Compensation details: 24-36 Hourly Wage
