The right candidate will have an outgoing personality, likes to function as part of a team, is a self-starter, has great communication skills, notices the details, and values accuracy.$44K-$65k depending on experienceShift A: Thu-Sat and EO Wed / 05:00 – 17:00 or 17:00 – 05:00Shift B: Sun-Tue and EO Wed / 05:00 – 17:00 or 17:00 – 05:00Load Planning and Scheduling• Coordinate and assign loads to drivers• Create orders in AS400 and Prospero• Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times, fuel usage, and reduce empty miles• Utilize AS400 / TMW dispatching system/order entry system• Knowledge of Transview is a plus• Knowledge of Prospero is a plus• Intermediate experience in MS Windows, MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook)Customer Communication• Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining clear communication and meeting service expectations.• Build and maintain strong relationships with dedicated customer account.• Provide proactive updates on shipment statuses, delays, or other changes that may affect the customer.Driver Communication and Support• Maintain regular communication with drivers to provide load details, directions, and updates.• Address driver concerns and support them in resolving issues encountered during routes.• Monitor driver performance, including on-time deliveries, adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with hours of service (HOS) regulations.• Respond to unforeseen challenges, such as mechanical issues, route disruptions, or customer complaints, with efficient and effective solutions.• Coordinate with maintenance, safety, or customer teams to address problems promptly.• Ensure drivers adhere to company policies, DOT regulations, and safety standards.• Communicate necessary pre-trip and post-trip requirements and handle documentation for compliance.• Track and confirm successful deliveries, ensuring all required documentation is filed correctly.Desired Skill Sets• Capable of multi-tasking and juggling multiple assignments• Excellent customer service in person, on the phone, and via email• Clerical duties including filing, faxing, scanning, etc• Professional support of office and driver staff• Ability to work well with a diverse group of people• Able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing• Able to work in close proximity with primary customer which can result in competing priorities, must be able to remain calm under pressure
