Job Description

We are excited to find a talented  Wine Director/Sommelier  to join our team! The ideal candidate will bring expertise in fine dining, a deep passion for the culinary arts, and an exceptional knowledge of wine. As Wine Director, you will collaborate closely with Chef David Kinch to curate and maintain a thoughtfully crafted wine list that complements our restaurant’s focus on the Ligurian region with Italian, French, and select local wines.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in fine dining.
  • Advanced wine certification (e.g., WSET Level 2 or higher, or equivalent from a reputable wine education program).
  • Exceptional time management and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:

  • Hourly Pay: $45–$55 per hour during service (including tips) and $25 per hour for administrative hours.
  • Benefits:
  • 401(k) with up to 3% employer match
  • $150 monthly contribution toward health insurance
  • Standard sick leave and paid time off
  • Reimbursements:
  • $200 per month for R&D expenses
  • $100 per month for cellphone costs
  • Performance Bonuses: Up to $1,000 per period (13 times per year) when pour cost and sales goals are achieved.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
