Job Description
Role Title: Shipping Associate

Reporting Relationship: Production Supervisor
Main Responsibilities:

• Adheres to best production practices and product quality standards.
• Adheres to all quality policies, procedures, and objectives
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures

• Picks and packs material as per sales order line items and pick lists. According to company packing guidelines and instructions.
• Ensure proper packing, labeling, and tagging of the inventory in the warehouse.
• Sets up pallets for material being dispatched as per work instruction from packing lane.
• Creates tabulation sheets for shipments per pallet.
• Dispatches shipments via truck freight and/or Shipping Easy (small package)
• Operate shrink wrap machine.

• Operate forklift as required.
• Adheres to all safety regulations and Kaizen / 5S practices of the warehouse.
• May be required to assist in other areas as requested by lead and/or supervisor.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Previous warehouse experience
• Good communication skills
• Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations
• Computer skills and knowledge of data entry and inventory software programs is a plus.
• Experience with inventory control is a plus
• Ability to bend and lift 50 pounds
• Forklift certification is beneficial for unloading large shipments is a plus
