What You'll Do:
- Sauté Excellence : Master the art of sauté cooking, crafting a variety of Japanese dishes with precision and flair.
- Quality Control : Ensure every dish leaving the kitchen meets Norikase’s high taste, presentation, and authenticity standards.
- Kitchen Collaboration : Work closely with the culinary team to maintain a positive and productive environment in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Open Kitchen Engagement : Communicate with guests in our open kitchen environment, enhancing their dining experience through excellent customer service.
- Sanitation & Safety : Follow all sanitation and safety standards to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience : A minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar sauté cook position, preferably in Asian or Japanese cuisine, is preferred.
- Skills : Strong sauté and knife skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with kitchen procedures.
- Team Spirit : Ability to work as a team member in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Passion : Enthusiasm for Japanese cuisine and a commitment to culinary excellence.
- Education : A high school diploma or GED is required.
