RAYUS Radiology is looking for an Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together! As an Interventional Radiologic Technologist, you will assure that services are provided to patients and referring specialists within professional standards. Maintains positive work relationships with radiologists and other physicians referring to the company. This position is full-time, working day shifts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(85%) Patient Procedures and Care
- Assists physician with routine and advanced interventional/vascular procedures, including scrubbing and circulating
- Supports patient clinic visits
- Explains and prepares patients for procedures that will be performed
- Adjusts equipment as necessary
- Follows physicians’ orders precisely and conforms to safety regulations to protect themselves, their patients, and coworkers
- Works within CDI policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
- Accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
- Maintains sterile environment during procedures, completes room turnaround within infection control guidelines, and maintains an orderly and clean work area
(10%) Imaging Support
- Monitors medical supply inventory
- Assists with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise
(5%) Performs other duties as assigned
