Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Med Surg

Magnet Medical is seeking a travel nurse RN for a dynamic role in a Med-Surg unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment and Care

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessment and physician orders.

• Patient Safety and Infection Control

  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to prevent hospital-acquired infections.
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions, such as emergencies or complications.

• Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding the plan of care.

• Patient Education and Empowerment

  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and discharge plans.
  • Provide instructions on medication management, lifestyle changes, and follow-up care.

• Documentation and Compliance

  • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, progress, and outcomes in the medical record.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

This position requires a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with excellent clinical skills and strong communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced Med-Surg environment and be able to work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
