BWT Logistics is seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive the financial health and growth of our organization. The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial future by developing and implementing strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing expert guidance on risk management and financial decision-making. This is a high-impact role requiring a proven leader with a strong background in financial management and a deep understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP.Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s short- and long-term goals.Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making on financial strategies, cost-saving initiatives, and resource allocation to drive organizational efficiency and growth.Collaborate with the executive team and board of directors to define and achieve organizational objectives.Financial Oversight And Reporting:

Oversee the finance department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.Provide high-level strategic oversight of financial operations to ensure strong performance and adherence to company standards.Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and adherence to regulatory and organizational standards.Lead the preparation and review of comprehensive financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators.Manage cash flow, investments, and asset optimization to maintain financial stability.Risk Management And Compliance:

Conduct financial risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including tax filings and audits.Establish and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies.Team Leadership And Development:

Provide strategic oversight and leadership for the accounting department, ensuring the team is supported with resources, direction, and opportunities for success.Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture focused on professional growth and operational excellence.Stakeholder And Investor Relations:

Build and maintain strong relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, financial institutions, and regulatory agencies.Represent the organization to investors and other financial stakeholders.Present financial updates, budgets, and forecasts to the Board of Directors and executive leadership.Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.Minimum of five years of experience in an equivalent senior finance role, with a preference for logistics industry experience.Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP.Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.Proficiency in financial systems and tools, including advanced Excel and ERP platforms.What We Offer
