Quantity Surveyor , you will be at the forefront of leading our Cost Management team, delivering comprehensive cost consultancy services across a wide range of real estate projects.Responsibilities

Onsite / in-office work is required.Lead and manage a team of cost managers and quantity surveyors.Mentor and provide training to junior team members.Oversee the allocation of project resources.Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key clients.Act as the primary point of contact for major clients.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.Oversee the preparation and management of cost plans, budgets, and forecasts.Conduct cost analysis, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.Ensure accurate and timely preparation of tender documents.Monitor project expenditure and report on budgetary performance.Implement cost control procedures.Ensure that projects are delivered within budget and on time.Review and negotiate contracts, variations, and change orders.Coordinate with project teams to manage financial aspects.Address and resolve any discrepancies or disputes.Contribute to the development of service delivery strategies.Identify opportunities for business growth.Collaborate with senior leadership to align team goals.SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role.Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.Professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS) is highly desirable.Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a cost management or quantity surveying role.Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex real estate projects.Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a team.Strong experience in contract administration and financial management.Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Advanced knowledge of cost management software.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.Comprehensive understanding of current market trends.Additional Information

The salary range for this full-time role is

$165K-$185K

per year. Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.Qualified candidates with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with LA County ordinance and CA law.On-site presence and requirements may change depending on our client's needs.Turner & Townsend is an equal opportunity employer.
