Director, Sales DevelopmentAs a Director, Sales Development, you will provide strategy, mentorship, and guidance to a team of Sales Development managers, ultimately furthering the growth of our organization. This role impacts one of the largest lines of business in the company through prospect generation and sales pipeline volume, and contributes to molding the future Account Executives and leaders of Datadog.At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.What You’ll Do:Forecast performance based on team productivityHire, oversee, and train a team of Sales Development ManagersDevelop and monitor successful outbound prospecting strategiesFacilitate the ramp up for all new team members, coaching them to successEvaluate trends to identify areas for improvement and surface best-practicesWork alongside Sales Development Managers to ensure Account Executive readiness for phase-three Sales Development RepresentativesCross-collaborate with stakeholder departments to actualize on go-to-market strategies, develop training curriculum, and meet hiring goalsWho You Are:Experienced in 5+ years of hi-tech, cycle direct salesFamiliar with SaaS/Cloud and SalesforcePassionate about coaching, mentorship, and team managementA self-starter who thrives in a high-growth, rapidly changing marketplaceProven in your track record of success exceeding personal and team quotasAble to work cross-functionally, leveraging your organizational and time management expertiseDatadog values people from all walks of life.
