Director of Financial Planning and Analysis
We are looking for a skilled Director of FP&A to join our team on Long Island, NY. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our commercial functions by providing financial planning, budgeting, and analysis. You’ll primarily work alongside the commercial team to enhance revenue forecasting, expense management, strategic planning, and decision-making. This role reports directly to the VP of Corporate Finance.The ideal candidate will bring extensive FP&A experience, ideally from a manufacturing or distribution background, with strong analytical abilities and a knack for presenting financial data in a clear, actionable way to a variety of audiences.Key Responsibilities:Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic initiativesCollect, process, and analyze sales data to derive meaningful insightsPrepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports (daily, monthly, quarterly, annually)Develop and maintain dashboards to track sales performance, pipeline metrics, and other key performance indicatorsConduct profitability analysis at the customer and product levelPartner with leaders in Sales Divisions to provide recommendations on sales performance by employee, region, and territoryAnalyze and optimize the pricing model to enhance pricing performanceDevelop and analyze cost-to-serve models and contribution margins to inform future investmentsAggregate and distribute daily sales reportsAssist in preparing materials for Board of Directors presentationsSupport KPI and dashboard reportingHelp with the monthly close process (accruals, prepaids, variance analysis, etc.)Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to provide business insights and identify opportunities for improvementChampion the standardization and automation of processes through system and tool enhancementsPerform ad hoc reporting as neededQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA, CPA, CFA, or CMA preferred5+ years of experience in finance, with experience in a global manufacturing business preferredStrong proficiency in financial systems and databases; skilled in data mining and analyticsHigh attention to detail with excellent analytical and research skillsIf you're a dynamic and strategic thinker with a passion for driving financial excellence, we'd love to hear from you!Please email resumes to level
