Sales Director (North America)
on behalf of our client, with ambitious international growth plans. This is a
Permanent
position and will be ideally located in
Chicago, Illinois , but open to other locations across the Central United States.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and lead the North American sales strategy, driving brand growth and market share in key states with a strong focus on the Central United States.Set sales targets and forecasts, providing regular performance reports to senior management, and adjusting strategies based on results and market feedback.Identify and pursue new market opportunities, expanding distribution and ensuring high standards of service and brand presence.Cultivate relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retail partners to enhance brand visibility and secure prime placements.Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships, particularly within the sports sector to enhance brand visibility, drive consumer engagement, and leverage promotional opportunities that align with the brand's growth objectives.Oversee sales team recruitment, management, and training to build a high-performing, passionate team.Collaborate closely with the marketing and production teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and inventory alignment.What are we looking for?A minimum of 8-10 years in the beverage industry, with strong preference for candidates with hands-on experience in the beer sector. However, candidates with proven success in sales within the broader drinks market will also be considered.Demonstrated success in sales leadership roles, with experience driving brand expansion across multiple states or regions.Established relationships with key distributors, retail accounts, and other essential partners within the U.S. market, particularly in major metro areas.Strong ability to develop and execute a national sales strategy, utilizing market data to identify opportunities and optimize distribution channels.Experience recruiting, managing, and developing high-performing sales teams; fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, able to authentically represent the brand and secure high-impact partnerships.Salary & Benefits
