Basic Qualifications- 15+ years of experience as a Program or Flight Test leader with development programs or within Advanced Programs- Strong experience operating and leading a development program- Experience leading a large, cross-functional organization with direct and dotted line reports- Demonstrated ability to create and maintain a positive culture that motivates employees- 15+ years of Military experience- Previous Pilot Experience- Master's degree- Test & Eval Level III: DOD- Program Management Level II: DoDJob Code/TitleL3047E: Program Management DirJob DescriptionThe Dynamic Access and Targeting Systems (DATS) Director, which includes leading the Zulu Romeo (ZR) effort and New Business Funds (NBF), is responsible for leading and managing over 200 functional employees assigned to this effort, with an annual budget in excess of $50M per year. The functions that report to this program position include Engineering, Production Ops, Flight Test, Tooling, Software, and Supply Chain Management. Internally, this position interfaces with the program Vice Presidents and the General Manager (GM) of Advanced Development Programs (ADP). Externally, the role engages with multiple customers at the Senior Executive Service (SES) and General Officer level. As the leader of the NBF for the DATS portfolio, this position is responsible for executing the future trajectory/plan and investments that the VP and Strategy have laid out for an ADP special program. In summary, someone that is competent in engineering, fabrication, planning and with extensive flight test experience, including range test planning, data review and dynamic decision making in finding solutions w/r/t flying hardware.This position has an extended commitment to travel offsite to an austere environment and requires the ability to obtain special access to support flight test activities.
